1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using this platform, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. In addition, when using this platform's specific services, you shall be subject to any posted guidelines or rules applicable to such services.

2. Booking and Payments

All payments are securely processed through Stripe. When you submit a booking request, your card is authorized (held) for the full amount. If the owner declines the booking, the hold is immediately released and you will not be charged. If approved, the payment is captured. A non-refundable 11% platform service fee applies to all finalized bookings.

3. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation policies are determined primarily by the individual boat owners. Renters must contact the owner directly for cancellation requests. The 11% platform service fee is non-refundable under any circumstances unless the boat owner cancels the trip.

4. Renter Responsibilities

You agree to treat the rented boat and all equipment with care and respect. You are strictly responsible for any damage caused to the vessel during your rental period, whether by you or your guests. You agree to follow all maritime laws, speed limits, and safety regulations.

5. Liability Waiver

BoatRental operates strictly as a marketplace connecting boat owners with renters. We do not own, manage, or operate any of the vessels listed. You agree that BoatRental is not liable for any personal injury, property damage, or loss of life that may occur during the rental period. You agree to assume all risks associated with the activity.

6. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms will be handled through binding arbitration. You agree to attempt to resolve any disputes with the boat owner amicably before escalating to platform administration.
